A Child’s Prayer is a humanitarian 501c3 nonprofit based out of Washington state USA and is partnered with NGO Lukwanga Children’s Aid Uganda Africa.
For $45 a month, a student receives two meals a day, school supplies, a uniform, and basic medical care. Many children fall behind because their families cannot afford school. Sponsoring a child prevents hunger, keeps them in the classroom, and provides essential care—changing the course of a child’s life while creating a meaningful connection for the sponsor. Give a child the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.
Supporting our Teachers
Our dedicated teachers are committed to giving our children a quality education. Thanks to fundraising in 2022, we built a five-room housing unit that provides onsite housing and reduces rental costs. The need for teacher sponsors remains great. A monthly sponsorship of $150 covers a teacher’s wage and helps support their family while strengthening our school’s ability to educate.
